Frequently asked questions

What is WatchHer?
WatchHer is a women's safety brand in development. Our first planned product is a portable panic button key ring designed to work with the WatchHer app and a voluntary community of members.
How is the key ring intended to work with my phone?
Pressing the key ring is designed to signal the WatchHer app on your connected phone, which is intended to notify your chosen emergency contacts and participating members nearby. Connection requirements will be confirmed before orders open.
Is the product available yet?
No. The product is not yet available and there is no ordering or checkout. You can join the no-deposit pre-order interest list to be notified.
Does joining the list cost anything?
No. There is no deposit, no payment, and we do not collect any payment details.
Does signing up reserve a product?
No. Joining the list registers your interest. It does not create a purchase obligation and does not guarantee stock or a delivery date.
When will pricing and launch details be announced?
We have not set a date. Pricing, product details, and availability will be confirmed before orders open, and people on the list will be contacted.
Who is intended to receive an alert?
The app is being developed to notify the emergency contacts you choose and participating WatchHer members nearby. Exact behaviour will be confirmed before orders open.
Will WatchHer work without my phone?
No. The key ring is designed to work together with the WatchHer app on your connected phone. It is not intended to work independently.
How will location sharing work?
Privacy and consent are central design priorities. The exact controls and alert-sharing behaviour will be published before launch.
Can I donate now?
Not yet. Donations are coming soon, and we are not collecting any payments at this stage.
Are wearables and jewelry available?
No. Wearable panic buttons and jewelry are future products and are not available to buy.
Does WatchHer replace emergency services?
No. WatchHer is intended as an additional way to seek support. It does not replace emergency services or guarantee that help will arrive.
